Decent place near the S bahn. There’s AC and a Smart TV, and some rooms have a private mini kitchen.

We had a really nice stay. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean. It’s also well placed for walking around Ludwigsburg.

The staff were very nice, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was plentiful, and the station and shops are close by. But the noise was awful. The ground floor is right at street level, traffic carries up to the first two floors, and the upper floors get train noise. If you’re a light sleeper, avoid it. I gave it two stars for the noise, though otherwise I’d rate it four for its category.

The rooms have been renovated, but the bathrooms haven’t, and the hotel itself feels old fashioned. After 7 pm you need a mobile phone to call the owner for the code to the key safe. He wasn’t very friendly and accused us of being too late. It’s 2016. I’d have given three stars if the staff had been nicer.

Good value for the price, and it’s close to the train station. The room was clean and about average in size, though the bedroom was a little smaller than I expected.
