That view alone is a treat for anyone into water towers. As someone who knows them well, I think this one brings together the water and the tower just as a water tower should. It really lives up to the idea, and earns full marks.

The place was spotless, and we'd happily return, especially if we could get another room looking out at the water tower. The area around it has a lively, hands-on industrial feel, with all sorts of interesting physical effects to watch. The hotel's best feature is its spot right beside the water tower, THE landmark in Ludwigshafen. We didn't expect to find such a gem here. Maybe you'll even catch a Reinibär (a local bear) having a quick wash in the morning if you're lucky.

The tower is a treat for both the eyes and ears, and the view of the best water tower in the Rhine-Neckar region is hard to beat. A comfortable room makes life a little brighter for ordinary do-gooders.
