Ferienhaus Eisvogel

The house is right on the main Spree River, and the location is priceless. Lübbenau is walkable, but the place feels so secluded that all we heard was wildlife. We could sleep in, eat breakfast, and take the provided boats out to explore the biosphere reserve for as long as we liked. The garden was beautiful and natural, the furnishings were practical, and all the windows had mosquito nets. The house has been partly renovated. We spent a week at Steven's summer house, canoeing around the Spreewald and getting a break from everyday life. Steven met us himself, showed us around, and gave us his own ideas for things to do and places to eat. He explained the waterways carefully, answered our questions, and shared his favorite routes. You could tell he wanted us to have a great stay. We haven't felt this relaxed in ages, and we'll be back. Thank you!

The owner was so kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished. I spent a week at the Eisvogel, right by the water, surrounded by nature and wonderfully quiet. It's a beautiful location, and I'd highly recommend it.

The location makes this house unique, and it's very peaceful. The bathroom has been fully renovated, but the building itself is showing its age and the rest of it needs updating.
