I paid a 30% deposit after receiving an email confirming my reservation for early October, which I’d made on July 25, 2025. The email asked me to transfer the money to the specified account once I got the booking confirmation, and I took the confirmation at its word. I heard nothing until shortly before the dates, so I called and was told the apartment was occupied by construction workers for six months. Why send a reservation confirmation instead of a cancellation? I’ve tried to get my deposit back ever since, but have only received different excuses or been told the money had been transferred. It hasn’t. I’m now filing a complaint. Please be careful when booking.

For 12 people, this is pretty outrageous. The alleged overbooking was only noticed after seven months, and then they cancelled without a word just three days before the trip. That’s extremely unprofessional management and very cheeky, especially after it caused us a lot of inconvenience and expense. The disappointment is immense. If we don’t receive a refund, we’ll take legal action. This is addressed personally to the Groer family.

We felt very comfortable during our family gathering and would gladly stay here again. The house has three separate apartments and is superbly equipped, with a central location and no need to worry about parking. It was only a short walk to the harbor and the Spreewald Christmas market.

It was great to finally find a place for a larger group. The three separate apartments each have their own kitchen and bathroom, and the accommodation is fully equipped. The city center is just a two-minute walk away. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.
