The apartment has a lot going for it, especially the location and furnishings, and every window has a blackout blind. The owners were great to communicate with and turned the heat up beyond its usual setting for us, so things were fine after that. But when we arrived, it was freezing: 8°C outside and under 15°C inside. That really wasn’t acceptable with small children. I also didn’t like the layout, with a single bed right in the hallway, and the kitchen dishwasher needs replacing. The place is right beside a railway line, too. I can’t imagine nobody had complained about the previous heating settings. It’s basically a decent rental, just with a few drawbacks.
