The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, the basics were missing: no coffee maker, kettle, cups, or complimentary tea and coffee. At the price we paid, that was a real disappointment. We were told a coffee maker had to be purchased, but none was available for us to buy. We also had to bring all our luggage up ourselves, with no offer of help. I know some European hotels, even 4-5 star ones, don't have porters, but I expected that kind of assistance at a hotel of this standard. It was my first stay here, and I honestly hadn't expected these things to be absent. For Asian travelers, be aware that the sauna in Germany requires complete nudity. You won't be allowed in otherwise, which may be a cultural shock. The hotel could consider private or more modest options for international guests.

The wellness area was great, the food was decent, and everyone on staff was friendly. We had a pleasant stay on our second visit, using a voucher. At checkout, though, the receptionist went straight to the invoice without asking how things had been. For the room price, we expected a more thoughtful goodbye.

Alexis gave me a wonderful pregnancy massage. Really professional, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Thank you!

Breakfast has a huge selection, though it gets busy, so it's better to arrive early. The spa is great too. The hot tub was the one letdown since it was very shallow, and I preferred the relaxation pool. Your room is only minutes from the beach.

The spa was peaceful and lovely, and dinner at the main restaurant was delicious. We spent five nights in a suite in the hotel's old section. The rooms feel a little dated, but they're comfortable. There was a slight sewer smell from the toilet, though it wasn't too bad. I also couldn't get the hang of the light switches.
