I went for a work stay, and the hotel is in a great spot, but the practical details were a bit awkward. I couldn't add breakfast or parking to the booking, so I paid €8 for parking myself. The street spaces were all taken, and I can hopefully claim the parking back. Breakfast was nearly €17 and wasn't reimbursable, so I went to the bakery around the corner instead. Bring your own food and a bicycle if you can. The building has a lot of character, though it's quite old. Some floorboards creaked, and a wooden support pillar sat just off-center in the room. There was a little balcony with a table and two garden chairs, but even though it was sunny, it wasn't warm enough to sit out. Inside, there were only a couple of decorative dining chairs, no comfortable armchair or sofa.

The rooms were cozy and nicely appointed, and I slept well each night. Landhaus Bode has a lovely vintage feel throughout, from the rooms to the dining area, with plenty of old-world character. It's in a quiet spot just a short walk from the beach, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a delightful stay and would recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, vintage-style break near the beach. Thanks to the staff for making it such a wonderful visit.

The breakfast gave me the idea to buy a particular product. The building itself is beautiful, with an old German style from the 1910s. Worth a visit.
