A lovely place to stay, with super friendly people and fair prices. Especially handy when visiting a Rundling.

Whenever we're in the Wendland region, Fort is our first stop, and that's where the vacation starts. The service is friendly and efficient. The circular park setting is enchanting, with a quiet, relaxing outdoor area in the warmer months. In a charming traditional four-post farmhouse, they serve homemade cakes and a small range of hot dishes. Always a great café tip.

We felt so welcome, and the hospitality was wonderful. The onion soup, sandwiches, and cake were unbelievably delicious. My daughter described the apple cake as “disgustingly delicious apple cake!” Many thanks to the fantastic team.

The area is perfect for exploring, and the Wendland region brings history to life. We come every year, several times, and it's simply wonderful each time. Lovely service and cake made with so much care. Thank you!!!
