The location is convenient, right in the city center and easy to reach. The room was perfectly clean and quiet, which was nice. Breakfast was so-so, although the bread was very good and there was a basic choice of sweet or savory. Over three nights and four days, I only saw the staff in the morning when a woman collected the breakfast leftovers, and when I was leaving. I'm not sure whether that's a positive or a negative.

I spent five nights at Hotel Brauhaus Schillerbad. It's a nice, clean hotel and the people are friendly. I had dinner in the restaurant almost every night, trying different options, and really liked both the meals and the people there. I especially recommend the Braumaister schnitzel WITH Weizen bier.. :)

The service was quick and friendly, and there was nothing to complain about overall. The restaurant is in a market hall-like building with Bavarian-style furnishings. Most of the food is Bavarian-inspired, though there are some unusual options too, like Mediterranean tarte flambee.

The room was simple, but it suited the situation. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the hotel is in a very good location.

You can easily explore on foot since it's right in the center of town. The restaurant's flammkuchen is very good, and I'd definitely recommend it.
