The breakfast was good, but I thought it cost too much, and the pricing felt a bit odd. My double room was otherwise quite nice, with a relatively large and attractive bathroom, but the fixtures weren't working. I couldn't really shower: after running the hot water for several minutes, all I got was a scorching trickle that wouldn't mix with the cold water. When I raised it, I was told a fairy tale 😥 The room had only sloping roof windows, so there was no proper view and I couldn't really darken it. The door didn't shut right, letting in light, noise, and smells. There wasn't even a chair or similar spot to put my clothes. Sadly, I wouldn't be likely to stay there again.
The service was very friendly, and they were welcoming to both children and dogs. It was our first visit, but I doubt it'll be our last.
The hotel made us feel warmly welcomed, and we had a pleasant stay. It's a charming little place on the outskirts of Lüdenscheid, with a lovely atmosphere. Our room was bright and inviting, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. The hallway doors are quite thin, but the other guests were considerate, so it didn't cause a problem. Parking was excellent too.
We went last Friday as a group of eight, and the staff were quick and attentive, even with a wedding going on next door. Everything was carefully prepared. I ordered my schnitzel after the others, but they got it out so fast that I could eat with everyone else. Great restaurant!
