Pension Hesse

We have a lovely room, number 7, and the owners are really friendly. We always enjoy coming back 🙂🤍

We felt right at home, thanks to the very friendly hosts. Dogs can stay at no extra charge at Pension Hesse, and the nightly price is very reasonable. The guesthouse is somewhat secluded but easy to reach by car, and it’s a great fit if you enjoy walking and being outdoors. Inside, the room is beautifully furnished, which you’d never guess from the outside, and it was spotless. We couldn’t find a single hair from the previous guest, which is rare, so thank you for keeping it so clean! There’s a little kitchenette with two hotplates, a ground coffee maker, a kettle, dishes, and a pan; everything was clean and working. Thanks again for everything.

I’ve been coming here for years, and a lot has been renovated since it changed management two years ago. The rooms are spacious, large, and clean, with free Wi-Fi and parking. The owner is very friendly and sorts out requests right away. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t say anything about it. I took off a star because you can hear the highway quite clearly, though with the windows shut in winter it isn’t a problem.

The beds were fine, and the room was spacious. Breakfast was temporarily unavailable, which wasn’t an issue by itself. But the heater and refrigerator hummed quite loudly, and the highway could clearly be heard. The two of us had to get by with just three towels for four days; they weren’t changed, and no toilet paper was replenished. We didn’t see anyone to ask until the day we left, which is why I’m giving only two stars.
