The apartment had everything we needed and was furnished really nicely. There's also a toy corner in the hallway, plus books for both adults and children. The house is lovely, with its own playground, and it's convenient for parents: you can keep an eye on the kids from the balcony while having a quiet coffee. We'd love to come back.

The apartments are lovely and fully equipped, and the garden is just as nice. There's a large pool with a roof, so you can use it even when the weather is cooler. The nearby main road does mean it's not the quietest spot.

Just 10 minutes from Winterberg, and the place has a lovely village feel rather than being the remote spot you might expect. The setting is beautiful, the accommodation is lovely, water and electricity are inexpensive, and there’s somewhere to eat just around the corner.
