Davina and Nick are such warm, lovely people, and the area around the apartment is beautiful. There's lots to do nearby, especially if you're into hiking or geocaching. We only stayed for a weekend and wished we'd had longer, so we'll definitely return. The apartment was spotless, looked fantastic, and had great beds and pillows. Even the sofa bed in the living room was really comfortable.

We wanted to see Winterberg in the snow, so we booked a last-minute stay by phone with Ferienhaus Hedrich. The apartment was beautiful and super clean, with loads of room for two people and our small dog, who was welcome too. The owner was incredibly hospitable. Towels, made beds, toilet paper, all of it was provided. It felt like a unique treat, since in the Netherlands you have to pay extra for everything. We had a great mini-break in lovely surroundings and will definitely come back.

I'd think twice about booking here if you know any of the other tenants, since a cancellation seems quite likely. We were three families with children, each looking to rent an apartment, and apparently that wasn't welcome because we were traveling as a "group." You don't get the right to cancel yourself, but the landlords can simply cancel your booking. Three families, three apartments. I wouldn't book here again.

We stayed five nights around Christmas and got such a warm welcome. The room was beautiful and decorated for the season. The surroundings were lovely too. A very positive stay!
