The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and booking the house was easy from start to finish. We spent a weekend there at the beginning of the year and were glad we'd made the trip to the Winterberg area. It's peaceful and rural, a lovely spot for walks, relaxing, and enjoying nature. The house has plenty of room even for a larger family, is very well equipped, and made us feel welcome right away. There's a playground nearby that's especially nice for families with kids. Another handy thing is having two ski equipment shops close by, so you can skip the queues in Winterberg and even pay a bit less. Winterberg is about a 20-minute drive away. We had a thoroughly positive stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

The amenities are excellent, and shops are just a three-minute drive away. It's a beautiful house with a playground right outside and a wonderful natural setting for hiking. Winterberg mountain is 11 km away. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a weekend with eight people and were completely happy with the house. It's quiet, clean, and has everything you need for either a short or longer visit. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of outdoor space, including a balcony and a terrace with a grill, for relaxing. The village and surrounding area have ample amenities and suited us perfectly. It's a lovely place to stay if you're planning a trip to the Sauerland region.

We had a really enjoyable weekend in this cozy, spotless, well-kept house, which was decorated for the season. The big dining table was great for meals and games, and the kitchen had lots of room to cook and chat, with a table and chairs. Right across the way there's a large playground with lots of variety, though bad weather meant we couldn't use it. Our family and I felt very comfortable there.

We rented the whole house and felt right at home. The rooms are spacious, everything was neat and tidy when we arrived, and the cottage is fully equipped in a lovely, peaceful setting. From the balcony you can clearly hear the stream. The owners were friendly and easy to reach. When our car broke down on the last day, they let us stay at the cottage a little longer. There's also a lovely playground nearby and a beautiful stream to walk alongside and relax by. We were very satisfied and highly recommend it.
