Mercure Hotel Luedenscheid

The bartender was genuinely nice, and the hotel is near the city park, so there are pleasant walking trails. Beyond the bar, though, the facilities felt very average. The carpets and window panes were dirty, a wall was damaged, and the elevators were painfully slow. It seemed mostly filled with business travelers, and the breakfast buffet got monotonous. Front desk staff were generally cool and polite toward non-Europeans. You have to request room cleaning a day in advance, and if you arrive on Sunday, be ready to sort out food yourself: there’s nothing nearby, and the one delivery app makes the experience feel like the stone age. They’re also badly understaffed. An average stay overall.

I enjoyed the pool and sauna in the evenings, and the food was nice. The whole team made my stay memorable. Thanks, I’d definitely stay here again!

A comfortable, quiet room and great staff made for a very good stay. The food and cocktails at the bar were excellent, and there’s also a fitness area and swimming pool with a view. I’ll come back for sure.

After a hard day of work, the rooftop pool was a real treat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. I spent two nights here for a business meeting and warmly recommend the hotel. Thanks to the team at Mercure Luedenscheid for a great stay!
