Park Plaza Berlin

Breakfast was very good and had a decent range, though the coffee won’t suit you if you like specialty coffee. The rooms were nice and the people were kind. We stayed four nights, and the place gave a four-star impression. The heating was the main problem: it was cold in winter, and the wall heating was useless :)))). Apart from that, it was a very good stay.

Everyone at the hotel was welcoming throughout our week in the junior suite, except for the bartender at Friday’s private party. He was rude and disrespectful, and that brought the whole experience down to zero. For what I paid for the most premium offer, I expected to be treated with respect and to be able to buy draft beer. I also left a lot in tips. Had I known about the party and what followed, I wouldn’t have booked. Radisson should fire this person; it reflects very badly on the hotel, and I’m extremely disappointed.

The breakfast was fantastic, with lots of tasty choices, and there’s a small refrigerator in the room. The staff were professional, kind, and cheerful. It’s handy for the S-Bahn, shops, and places to visit. My only complaint was that the room I had didn’t have a power outlet next to the bed. Maybe other rooms have one on both sides. I’d highly recommend it.

Spacious rooms and lovely service made for a good stay. The gym was a little small, and there weren’t any robes, but otherwise it was great.
