The owner was pleasant enough, though it seemed clear they no longer wanted to run the business. The place feels like faded glory and doesn't leave a good impression. Breakfast was good, but the internet was poor and the shower was dirty, with black edges. There was also a lot of noise and bad smells from long-term guests cooking in the kitchen. The Dorfkrug is up for sale, along with the Mercedes outside.

The landlords are friendly, and the price is excellent for what you get. There are two furnished holiday apartments, one 65 sq m and the other 90 sq m. Each has two separate bedrooms with a TV in each, plus another TV in the eat-in kitchen. Free Wi-Fi, a laundry room with dryers in the basement, and parking are included. Restaurants, fast food, Aldi, Edeka, a bakery, Volksbank, and Sparkasse are all within walking distance. These apartments are also very suitable for tradespeople, with a discount on long-term rentals! 👍👍

Breakfast was good and the service was pleasant, but our overnight stay in August left us feeling the €75 was poor value. The owner kept us waiting an unreasonable amount of time and was grumpy and unfriendly. The room looked like it came from our great-grandmother's day, with a toilet and shower container put in it. Large things kept coming back up after flushing, and the setup wasn't attractive or comfortable.
