Am Roseneck

We’ll certainly come back. The place was very clean, and we could use the lovely garden. Our room was the largest one, as it happened to be available. We found the B&B through Google, called because we wanted to extend our stay in Lüneburg, and got the booking just by promising we’d show up! Ms. Meyer runs this small, cozy place and was friendly and full of energy, making sure we had a nice stay at a very affordable price. I think there are two or three rooms. Breakfast was included and served outside by the sweet lady on a lovely summer morning. We had coffee or tea, bread, butter, jam, cheese, sausage, and a boiled egg. Upstairs, there are two shared toilets for the few guests, including one large bathroom with a shower and bathtub. Everything was clean and tidy. There’s also a fridge in the hall with cold drinks at a low price. There are two parking spaces at the house. If both are occupied, there’s plenty of parking in the surrounding residential area. The owner was very kind and friendly, with helpful tips on where to go. The rooms were lovely, and simple extras like coffee, tea, and beer were available. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and there was a TV too. Just right for a short stay in Lüneburg.

We spent a week in Lüneburg in September 2024 and really enjoyed this place. The guesthouse is in a very quiet residential area, about a 2 km walk from downtown. Our room and the bathrooms were spotless, and the hosts were lovely and always available to try to meet our requests. Breakfast had pretty much everything you could want, and with the nice weather we ate out on the terrace. A great place to stay.

We spent two nights here in February 2025. The rooms were clean, the service was good, and the location was excellent. Good value for money, and we'd happily recommend this guesthouse.
