Lüneburg is a charming town, and I’d stay at the Residenz Hotel again if I’m back in the area. I was there for a short trip in June, and the quiet location a little outside the center suited me. Parking was convenient, just a few minutes from reception. My room had everything I needed, was comfortable, and I slept well. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, so check-in felt easy and welcoming. Breakfast was good too.

The room had a Nespresso machine, which was great. But the hotel’s “due to corona” policy meant no capsules and not even a bottle of water. What rubbish!

Only stayed one night, so I can’t say much, but I had a pretty enjoyable time. The hotel was clean and the staff were nice.

A family hotel outside the center, with a nice park nearby for a run or a walk.
