Breakfast is continental, and there’s parking on site. The hotel is spacious and an easy walk from the famous Lüneburg market place. It’s run efficiently by a former Chinese Pop singer. The Chinese Restaurant has closed, sadly, though the decor is still there.

The host was really friendly, and breakfast was good. The hotel is small and a bit dated, though it could use some renovation. The sink is right in the room! Fine for one night.

We’d booked in April and arrived in September as a group of five, after driving 500 km. Then we were told the hotel was overbooked and the confirmed rooms weren’t available. They said we’d have to take double rooms because there were no single rooms left, and we were left stranded on the street. I don’t recommend this hotel. I can’t understand the positive reviews.
