The room was clean, but I’d avoid staying here. We paid 150 euro after booking online that same day for 15th – 16th July 2022, when the listed price was 80 euro for the night. Beforehand, the owner messaged us that late check-in would cost an extra 40 euro and payment had to be cash, with no credit cards. That seemed suspicious, but we went ahead. When we arrived at half past 10, the owner was unpleasant, yelled at us, and made us pay 150 euro. We weren’t given a receipt. We left early the next morning, and afterward he changed our booking on the online booking-site to a random date in 2024. We think he may have been trying to make it look as if we’d cancelled and never stayed.

We had a car parking space, and it was an easy place to reach by car. The room was more like an apartment, with loads of space, and the location was very quiet. Cherry trees were flowering in the courtyard, a little bit of nature despite buildings all around. Breakfast was very plentiful, and the places we wanted to visit were only a short distance away.

The place was quiet, with shops and restaurants nearby, and Leipzig wasn't too far away. Our small apartment had a hallway, bathroom, and bedroom. It was plain and basic but clean, and had what we needed. The furnishings were somewhat dated, though that didn't bother us. Parking felt secure, and the landlord was available if we had questions. Good value for the price.
