The hotel is right by the train station, which is very convenient. My wife, our four-year-old, and I shared a design room with a king bed. It was quiet and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. You can get beer, wine, or cocktails served at reception. We’d happily stay here again.

The staff were super nice, and the place stayed calm despite being right inside the train station, thanks to the modern insulation. There’s coffee and bar service around the clock, with a wide choice of drinks. It’s clearly geared toward young people on the go, which is a big part of the city crowd these days, and works really well for them. Very clean and efficient too. If you’re coming to Muenster for any kind of stay, I’d definitely check it out.

The main station is directly connected to the hotel, so getting around from here is extremely convenient. The colorful yellow and pink design is unusual, with geometric shapes in the furniture and carpets. It felt a bit jarring at first, though I got used to it. The room made the stay feel very cheap and below what I’d expect for a city hotel in this segment. There was no water, just two carton cups, which felt like a bare minimum. I know city hotels can be practical and pared back, but that still didn’t explain the low quality. The affordable price and heated bathroom floor were the only reasons I’m giving two stars. Parking was the worst part. The system was needlessly complicated, requiring guests to enter their details at a machine instead of automatically registering the car. We ran into problems, and it wasn’t clear whether payment was still due or we’d already overpaid. Guests shouldn’t have to keep track of all that themselves. It ought to work smoothly. Before leaving for the airport, I went to reception on the first floor to explain what had happened. The receptionist cut me off before I could finish, saying the hotel had nothing to do with the lot, didn’t cooperate with them, and I’d have to sort it out myself. That’s a huge no-go. Either the hotel offers no parking, or it should help guests when problems come up. Given the whole stay, especially how the parking issue was handled, I wouldn’t come back.

I checked in at 1 in the morning without any trouble, and the staff were really nice. The room was clean and quiet, though the bright colors give it a very particular style, just like the website photos suggest. For how cheap it was, the location right in front of the Central Station was ideal, so I thought the value was very good. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey for what it offered, with not that many options, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

I was in town for a business trip and left my electric tooth brush and my make up in the room when I checked out in the morning. A few hours later I noticed they were missing, and since I was still in the city, I went back. The room had been cleaned, but nobody had checked in yet. The receptionist checked the place where staff are meant to leave things they find. My belongings weren’t there. I believe whoever cleaned the room took them. There were a lot of expensive make up items in the bag, and I’m deeply disturbed by what happened. These people enter rooms to clean while guests are away. How can I trust them again? I contacted the hotel authorities to get my things back. It shouldn’t have been difficult to work out who cleaned that room, since only one person did it. They apologized and said they’d look into it and contact me, but months passed and I never heard back. I gave them plenty of time to return my belongings before writing this, but they didn’t, and people deserve to know what they’re trusting. I also asked our travel agency to remove the hotel from its list, so my colleagues and others using that same agency wouldn’t risk going through the same thing. Be aware.
