I've stayed here several times and the choice has never let me down. The reception staff are competent and ready to help, and the location is handy for an overnight stay in Magdeburg. I loved seeing the Hbf from my room in the morning. I'll definitely come back.

We lost our train while changing in Magdeburg on the way to Frankfurt, and we were stranded at dawn in a city we didn't know, since we're not from Germany. The employees at this hotel were the only people who welcomed us and showed us compassion. The accommodations were great as well, with a nice bed and a great bathroom and shower. It's very close to the city center and main station.

Room 415 was a big disappointment. That bed felt like a torture device, guaranteed to leave you aching. The bathroom was the smallest we'd ever seen in a hotel room. You could swing a mouse in there, not a cat. Breakfast earned half a star.

A standard mid-range place near the railway station. It has what you need, but nothing out of the ordinary. In summer I'd suggest booking a business room, since it has AC and the standard room doesn't.

We got a really good price for two rooms, which made us very happy. The place was friendly and the breakfast was very nice too. We were just passing through on a road trip with the kids, and the staff kindly helped with extra blankets and spoons for a late-night snack. Paid parking was available, though we visited Saturday to Sunday, when the nearby parking area was free.
