About 20 years ago, I lived in this unit for six months. It’s a lovely, quiet place close to the old city centre. The sudbanhof is nearby, and Mainz’s sights and grocery stores are all within walking distance.

The landlady was very friendly, and when I accidentally left something behind, she promptly mailed it to me at no charge. The apartment was clean, with a small kitchenette that had everything we needed. We stayed two nights at the Old Town Apartment in Mainz. It’s very well located, with quick access to the city center. We’d gladly come back. Thank you!

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had a comfortable bed. We spent two good days there, right by the old town with everything a short walk away. Our written contact with the landlords was very friendly. If we return to Mainz, we’ll try to rent this place again.

You can walk to everything from this central spot on the edge of the old town, so it worked perfectly for us as a couple exploring Mainz. Parking is nearly impossible otherwise, so definitely book the underground space. The kitchenette is fine for making a small breakfast, and the bed was very comfortable and quiet. Highly recommended.
