You can reach plenty of restaurants with different kinds of food on foot. I stayed for a few weeks and found that every room has its own look; no two are alike, and some have been renovated recently. It’s an attractive guesthouse, with appealing room design and good facilities. The only minor issue is the bathrooms in a few of the rooms. I highly recommend it.

The parking right in front of the house is a real plus, since finding a spot in the neighborhood can be difficult. This is a nice little guesthouse, though the rooms are small. They’re affordable, clean, well furnished, and have a comfortable bed, so they work well for a night or two, but might feel cramped for longer. One thing to know: there are no drinks at the guesthouse, so I’d bring a bottle of water for the night.

Parking at the house can handle even large vehicles. The rooms are nicely renovated, though not very spacious, and work well if you mainly need a place to sleep. The bathrooms are good and well maintained. If a non-smoking room matters to you, ask about it.

Keys are left in an agreed spot in advance, as there’s no reception. That means nobody bothers you, and it feels like coming home, but if something goes wrong or you need help, there’s no one to ask, especially in the evening. I really missed having a fridge, since there aren’t many restaurants nearby and almost everything closes on weekends. The guesthouse is in a pleasant Mainz suburb with charming, tidy houses and streets that are lovely for a stroll. It’s a small place with 11 rooms, single and double. Rooms are kept in good condition and have a comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk, TV with German channels only, toilet, shower, hairdryer, and towels. Cleaning is daily. I think a flash drive with films would work with the TV.
