5 Villa Blanck Bungalow

We've been coming back for years. It's not cheap, but there's loads of space for big groups and it's very well equipped. The grounds are great for relaxing, and the kids can run around, with a playground there too. You can use the sauna and rowboat, and there's direct access to the water. That means you do need to watch younger children closely. The house also makes a handy base for exploring the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Apartment 5, the bungalow, was fantastic for the two of us. It has 50 square meters of living space, with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The furnishings are lovely and thoughtful, and the kitchen is top-notch. We could sit, lie down, or grill on the little terrace, which also looks out over the lake. It's only about 20 steps to the water, where there are seating spots to relax. Even with the other apartments in the villa occupied, we had complete peace and quiet. The three jetties made it hard to resist jumping in all the time. With children, there's also a free lido about 1 km away, and it has a diving platform. We rented a kayak in town for the week and could easily tie it up at one of the jetties. Villa Blanck is easy to recommend. Thanks for a wonderful holiday in such a beautiful area and excellent accommodation.

We've stayed here three times, twice with the kids, and keep coming back because we love the house and grounds. There's a cupboard full of games and a playground outside. The view from the jetty is lovely too.

The apartments are superbly equipped, and we didn't lack anything. Villa Blanck is right on the water and has its own jetty, a lovely maintained lawn and garden, a carport for guests, and a playground. There's a barbecue too. The bicycles aren't for long rides, but they're simple and functional, rust-free, and roadworthy, handy for a quick trip to the bakery or around town. These come as standard. A caretaker and a neighbor are available every day for small problems, and anything broken is repaired or replaced straight away. We spent our vacation here again this year, and it's a top-class 5-star property with an excellent location.
