I rarely eat as well as I did at the hotel restaurant. The dishes are lifted by seasonal ingredients, including things like linden blossoms. Service was another highlight: the staff were friendly and always ready to help. The hotel sits in a quiet spot right on Lake Fleesen, and it’s furnished with a lot of care. The simply furnished double rooms each have their own theme and charming decorations. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the TVs were just the right size. The restaurant and hotel are always worth a visit.

We had a small room that was quite sufficient for two. It was practical, though a little dated. The restaurant food was fantastic, both in the morning and evening. The quiet location by the lake, in a residential area, was very nice. Free Wi-Fi and parking were included.

I wouldn't stay here again. It wasn't the worst hotel I've booked, and arriving about an hour before check-in probably wasn't convenient for them. Breakfast was optional, but disappointing in hindsight. We had to pour our own coffee, which felt a bit precarious, and the table was laid except for the cutlery. There was no wastebasket, nobody asked if we'd like our empty dishes cleared, and the scrambled eggs and sliced cheese weren't replenished.

I was at the restaurant for a wedding reception and felt very comfortable there. It's cosy and beautifully decorated. The food was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The chef came out to welcome us late on Sunday evening, then served us an excellent dinner. Breakfast the next morning was just as satisfying, and the food, service, and friendly atmosphere made for a great visit. Good hotel with excellent cuisine. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely come back.
