Mr Gerd was thoughtful and kind during my perfect one-night stay. He helped me park my bike and even checked whether I wanted a breakfast alternative to salami, in case I was Muslim. The breakfast was big enough for lunch too, and they’d left cling film and little paper bags so I could take the rest with me. Those small gestures made the experience outstanding. A well-deserved five stars, ten points.

Gästehaus Townhuus was clean, pretty, and small and cozy, with a breakfast that was just as lovely. It’s probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, if not the best.

If you can, ask for a room facing the garden. It’s a charming place for a break from the crowds, with a great breakfast and a convenient location, especially if you arrive by train.

The staff were really nice and friendly, and the place and rooms were beautiful. I wish I could have stayed longer, but unfortunately I couldn’t.
