When our family of five ran into a problem with our stay in Frieburg, we found this lovely little hotel about 20 minutes away. The new owner rescued our evening, quickly arranging two adjoining rooms at 9 pm. While we waited, he had cold beers for us. There’s parking off the street at the back, the rooms were clean and breakfast was great. The village is cute, too. We couldn't have found a better place for our family.

The new owner was attentive and so friendly that we felt well looked after throughout our stay. We were only there for one night, but had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean and cosy, with good parking, in a cute little town. Europa-Park and Rulantica are just a few minutes' drive away. Highly recommended!

Miroslav, the new proprietor, was extremely accommodating during our lovely overnight stay at this cute hotel. There’s a great Thai restaurant nearby, though it’s best to book a table.

I still haven't received the invoice for my 380 euros stay, which I urgently need for an insurance matter. The owner and I had agreed in person that it would be issued later, but I’ve followed up with two calls and two reminder emails without getting it. The owner seemed quite friendly at first. Because of this negligence, I’m clearly at risk of losing 380 euros.

The room was tiny, the bed small and uncomfortable, and the bathroom was terrible. The towels looked used, there was no shampoo, and the TV was ridiculously small. My experience at Gasthof Hotel zum Rebstock was extremely disappointing. Before arriving, I called to ask about parking, but staff wouldn't help me in English. They told me to speak German or French and rudely suggested emailing instead. I emailed and never got a reply. I'd already paid, and then called seven more times to ask for the Wi-Fi code, with no answer or response. Complete lack of customer service. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere, this place is a joke.
