Hilton Garden Inn Mannheim

The room was lovely, quiet, and comfortable, and the hotel is just a minute's walk from the train station. After my connecting train was missed because of DB, they arranged an overnight stay here. It was a pleasant surprise that I wasn't put in a budget hotel. I was already upset because it was my birthday and all I wanted was to get home, so the young woman at reception's kind support and gesture meant a lot to me. Dinner was the one unpleasant part. I know I arrived near the end of service and the staff may have been tired and ready to go home, as I was. Still, the woman working there made me uncomfortable with a very unwelcoming attitude and no smile at all. Aside from that, I had a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was out of this world, and we found a parking spot each time, even though spaces are limited. The hotel is right by the main station, but there was absolutely no noise. I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable.

The corner room had lovely floor-to-ceiling windows, and the beds and sheets were super comfortable. I appreciated that the linens and towels had no fragrance, and there were decaf capsules for the in-room Nepresso machine. The decor was pleasing, the breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and kind. Maria also answered my questions promptly and professionally by email before we arrived. Check-in was welcoming, even though we came early, and they gave us a cup of hot water. We travel full time and can't remember another hotel stay that felt this flawless. The location right next to the train station made it even better. Thanks for such a stress-free, comfortable stay!

We went for dinner and had a good experience. The place is cozy, though it can feel a little cramped. There were plenty of food options and I liked the portion size. The food was good.
