The tram nearby makes it easy to get into the city centre, and the location is close to all the important places. I spent nearly 10 days here and had a delightful stay. Room service was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. It’s a lovely vintage property, comfortable and memorable. I’d definitely recommend it.

The bed was fairly comfortable, though I didn’t care for the pillows. I liked having a small balcony looking onto the back of the hotel, and the room’s refrigerator actually worked. It’s a very dated classic, but clean and fairly quiet, and everything worked fairly well. I didn’t try breakfast. If you have reduced mobility, this place probably isn’t for you. I paid roughly what a budget hotel like B&B would cost, so it felt like good value despite the dated decor and lack of amenities.

There’s plenty of parking in the public lot, and within a five-minute walk there are lots of restaurants. The Parkhotel is in a fantastic location, with a stunning view of the Wasserturm. The hotel has charm, and you can arrange a later checkout for an additional fee. The rooms are a little dated, but clean, well organised, and comfortable.

I was glad I could store my E-Bike safely. The rooms were clean and had everything set up well, and the beds were comfortable. It felt like good value for the price, though the room was definitely warm. Parkhotel is in a great spot, but with the windows open you can hear street noise.
