Hotel Weinhaus Liesertal

Good.

For what it costs, this place is hard to fault. We paid 75 euros per person for two nights with breakfast, and it had everything you need, which feels like very fair value these days. The hotel is quite old, sure, but I don't get the bad reviews when you look at it in this price range. We felt comfortable throughout and had a lovely stay. Thanks so much!

The owner was so friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the breakfast was really generous. We felt completely at ease and would happily return to Hotel Weinhaus Liesertal. The only real bright spot was breakfast: plenty to eat, and the products were good quality. The location is peaceful, and parking is easy, but the hotel itself feels old-fashioned and run-down, with a room straight out of the 70s. Check-in was only so-so, and nobody even showed us to our room. The soft mattress was a disaster, and there was an unrepaired leak under the toilet. There were only three people staying at the hotel. When we booked, the listing said there was a restaurant, though it hasn't had one for a long time. You also have to pay 80 euros in cash, with no card payments and no receipt.
