Gasthof Rebstock

The host was very nice, and the WiFi was good. I was there on a business trip, though, and the rooms are small. Housekeeping isn't included in the price.

The lady was kind, and the service was very good. I’d recommend it.

The inside feels fresh and cozy, though the outside looks a little dated. We had very friendly service and good traditional German food. I didn’t have a room, so I can’t comment on that.

We felt comfortable as soon as we walked into the inviting inn. The service checked in regularly without hovering, and the food was served hot on hot plates. Both the Swabian pork shoulder with cream sauce and the roast beef with onions came with plenty of sauce and well-cooked Spätzle. The pork tenderloin, served as 4 pieces, was cooked through without being dry, and the roast beef was good too. The small mixed salad was quite nice, with a clear yogurt-based dressing. For dessert, two of us chose apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. There wasn’t much choice, but the portion was just right, and the strudel was piping hot with the ice cream and cream. We ate at the Gasthof Rebstock with my family today; we didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t comment on the rooms. For the Lake Constance area, I thought the prices were fair, especially since other restaurants charge more. I have no complaints about the food.
