We enjoyed our stay with the children and our dog. The lake is within walking distance, and Leipzig isn't too far away. There was plenty for the children to do in the park. It's a lovely area, and we'll come back in the future.

We loved the place and will be back, though this time we could only stay one day. There are also other cabins to rent. For motor homes, they have 6-8 Stellplatz, and you can book one. The pool is free with the price, and there's a big beach nearby and nice walking. Everything was clean and nice. The one downside is that the free Wi-Fi isn't good.

The cycle network is extensive, though some of it isn't signed very well. You can also roller-ski around Markkleeberg See. The houses are spacious and very well equipped, bike hire is available on site, and it's easy to get onto the path around the lake. An excellent place to stay.

Families will find the big houses have everything they need, and children are well cared for. The facilities are excellent. A perfect family getaway. I can only recommend it, and would definitely return!
