The reception and restaurant look gorgeous, all modern and newly done. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the forest and lake. The hotel’s renovation feels fresh, and we had such a good stay in Schwarzbachtal that we’ll keep coming back.

Really nice-looking rooms, and it’s a good place to hide away. The staff were good and breakfast was good too. The fitness room, though, needs work. Its mirrors are distorted like something in a haunted house, and they made me dizzy. There’s also a strange barbell contraption that didn’t work as it should when I tried it. They should add some regular barbells instead.
