The checkout was unpleasant. The woman there sighed at my first comments about the open windows and missing curtains, then asked if I had any more complaints. When I mentioned the curtains again, she said in an annoyed tone, "no one complaints about missing curtains". She handed us the bill, asked us to pay, and immediately started talking to the only customer behind us. There was no understanding of our feedback, and no thanks for staying or wish for a safe trip. We'd booked a baby bed online, but it wasn't in the room when we arrived. They brought it only after we asked. The windows were open when we got there, with the outdoor temperature at +27°C, sunlight on the windows, and the screens half open. The room was +30°C, which wasn't comfortable, especially with our six-month-old baby. There were no curtains, just a shady screen, so the sun woke us at 6:30. We were there for one night as a stopover on the drive home from our holiday. At checkout we were given the bill without anyone asking how the stay had gone. We shared these points as feedback, while recognizing that the outside temperature wasn't something they could control. We offered the other comments as tips that might help improve service for future guests.

I was made to move to a three-star hotel 17 km away, without anyone telling me about the change in advance. The room there was tiny and low quality, yet I was charged the same price as for this four-star hotel. Extremely unsatisfactory and unacceptable.

The food was great, the atmosphere lovely, and the staff very friendly.

The hotel was nice and clean, with big rooms.
