The shower was a bit small, but the containers were clean and had everything we needed for our four days at Wacken Open Air. We booked three for our group, and I slept very well, though mattress comfort is a personal thing and some of us like a firmer bed than others. There’s laundry, a shared microwave, several places to sit in the courtyard, and a grill. Nice little place to sleep. Four stars, and we’d happily come back next year.

Burkhardt welcomed me in such a friendly way and has been very helpful and considerate. I can get in touch with her anytime, and she tries to help with requests, like supplying a clothes rack if you’d rather not use the dryer. The room has everything needed for two people, and it’s been great for my Friday to Sunday stay. Laundry costs €1.50, and there’s a microwave and kettle as well.

The price was far too high for what you get. The bathroom shower was much too small, the mattresses were worn out, and there weren’t enough power outlets. The kitchen is really just a kitchenette, with nothing but a kettle for appliances. Some areas also weren’t properly clean. Never again.
