The room was okay in this traditional German place, but the food alone would bring me back. I had the best venison of my life at their own restaurant. I’d make a detour to return.

On our cycling tour, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Anker. We upgraded to comfort level and appreciated the extra room, comfortable bed and spacious bath. Everyone on staff was very friendly, especially Anka. Breakfast was tasty and offered a great variety. Highly recommend.

We loved the roomy accommodation for our family of four. The pullout couch was ready for our boys, and the bathroom was lovely and spacious, with a soaking tub, two sinks and robes. Fresh fruit and cold water were waiting when we arrived. Being able to check in early helped us get ready for the wedding we were in town for. Breakfast was wonderful, and I loved the courtyards and the location near the river.

The staff were friendly and well trained, and breakfast in the bright, sunny room was excellent. We also had an exceptional dinner in their own Weinhaus. It’s a wonderful hotel, in a beautiful building in a pretty village.

The staff were helpful whenever we needed anything, and breakfast had plenty of freshly prepared, high-quality options. The hotel itself is pleasant and right in the middle of town. My single room, though, was small and felt dated, like stepping back into the 1980s.
