My 73-year-old dad was lost on the road in a foreign country when he tried to check in late yesterday evening. His stay had been registered and paid through booking.com, but the elderly man at the front desk refused to let him in or even accept the reservation number. He simply sent him away. I'm utterly shocked that someone in need could be treated like that. For a 4-star hotel, the front desk gentleman's behavior was outrageous. DRAMA, NO SERVICE.

The vegetarian options are limited, and weddings can make it loud. The sound insulation could be better, too. Still, the staff were friendly and effective, the restaurants were good, and getting around was easy. It's a very nice, large, modern hotel in a good spot near the Baltic in the Recknitz valley, where the eagles fly. The rooms are nice. I'd recommend it!

The hotel is right on the beach and wonderful, but I don't understand how a 4-star place can have no air conditioning. I was there for practical training and it was extremely warm. Opening the windows didn't help, since it was noisy outside and we couldn't hear the lector. This is possible only in Germany.

The staff were amazing, and we had a great stay at this absolutely fantastic hotel. A lovely place for a quiet, relaxing getaway, with awesome beer too. We'd highly recommend it!

Nice big TVs in the rooms, though all the channels are only in German. The place feels luxurious from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.
