Ferienpension Lindenhof

The relaxed, trusting feel around both the people and the animals is a big part of why we keep coming back. We’ve stayed here five times, and the horses are cared for with their natural needs in mind, so they’re very gentle and even-tempered. Joanne has given us so many lovely horse experiences, thank you! Lungeing is adapted to each rider, and more experienced riders can take private or group lessons. Guided trail rides are possible too. We especially recommend the pony walks through the beautiful heath. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

The scenery around the farm is almost kitsch-like beautiful, with heath, woods, fields, and blackberries and blueberries to pick everywhere. It’s really peaceful there. I stayed by myself with my two children, aged 4 and 6, in a three-person apartment. It was just what I expected, small, clean, and cozy. There’s so much for the children to see and do that I got plenty of quiet time too. The hosts are very nice, helpful, and easy to reach. We’ll definitely book again, the week was too short. Highly recommended for people with small children!

Our daughter was happiest spending time with the other children and horses, so we stayed on the farm most of the week. That left time to relax and have nice conversations with the other families. The farm sits among forests, meadows, and fields. We spent a wonderful week at Lindenhof with my 8-year-old daughter. The cozy, practical accommodation had everything we needed, and the terrace was a lovely place for breakfast, with direct access to the farmyard and a view of the playground. The animals were a real highlight. We could feed them together each evening, and if we were lucky, there were fresh eggs in the henhouse. My daughter got to ride and care for the horses every day. They showed her a lot, explained things, and helped her build trust. The owners are friendly, helpful, and flexible. Our car broke down at the end, unexpectedly extending our stay. Very quickly, they found us a room with a bathroom, refrigerator, coffee machine, and dishes. Simply fantastic. We’ll definitely come back.

The children loved getting to ride, pet, and feed the animals every day. There are friendly rabbits, horses, and goats, and the farm itself is beautiful and idyllic. Our apartment was clean, well maintained, and fully functional, just what you’d expect on a working farm. There are great amusement parks and nature nearby, too. The owners are friendly and always available. We’d love to come back.
