Ruby Coco Hotel Dusseldorf by IHG

We booked Ruby Coco Hotel Düsseldorf at the last minute for a weekend away as a couple, and it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel was spotless, and the staff really made an impression. Rama and Peter were especially welcoming, easy to talk to, and helpful with local advice. Sorry if I've misspelled their names. The room is compact, with little space to put away a suitcase, but it's cleverly laid out and had what we needed, including a hairdryer, good toiletries, and a comfortable place to relax. Along the corridor there's a handy shared area with a tap for filtered, sparkling, and boiling water, plus tea and coffee. An iron and board are built neatly into the wall too. It's easy to explore Düsseldorf on foot from here, with some lovely nearby walks. We even fitted in a Parkrun. If you're coming from the airport, you can often buy one ticket for the whole journey, transfers included, instead of separate train tickets. Ask the staff if you're unsure, Rama explained it and made things much easier. We liked Copenhagen Coffee Lab Düsseldorf for its coffee, pastries, and slightly different sandwich options. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby too. The hotel has a bar and restaurant area, and thoughtful extras include umbrella rental and luggage storage for a later flight. We had a really enjoyable stay and would return.

Irina was kind, professional, and supportive, and made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the place had a cozy, stylish feel with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were helpful, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended!

Mazhar made check-in easy, and the hotel is right in central Düsseldorf, with simple access to the shopping centre and U-bahn station. If you skip housekeeping, you can get a free drink at the bar. I had a lovely cocktail from Heidi. There's no kettle, tea, or coffee in the room, but you can get all of those from the gallery on your floor, where still and sparkling water are available from the tap.

The place was so clean, cozy, spacious, and perfectly located, with great service that made it feel like home. I had one of the best times of my life here. Big thanks to my dear friend Engin, the night shift staff Mazhar and Heidi, and all the other really cool, lovely people working here. I kept extending my stay for another night each checkout morning, haha. I just couldn't leave, and I left Düsseldorf in tears. Staying at Ruby Coco was one of the main reasons. They'd also arranged a lovely live music night. I'll come back and totally recommend it ❤️❤️❤️🌸🌸
