After a day of hiking, the spa was a real treat, and we could unwind in such a peaceful place. Our spacious room had a terrace, and Frau Bachmayer was kind and helpful throughout, making the trip feel perfect. We ate plenty at the typical German breakfast. We had a wonderful time in the German National Park and would definitely return.

It has a charming, authentic feel, and the setting is lovely. The food was good and nicely presented, and we thought the prices were fair. The host might have been a little friendlier, though nothing was actually negative, and I'd still call it very good. There aren't many options in the area, so if you're staying nearby for a few days it's worth a visit. I wouldn't drive 30 minutes just for it.

The food really deserves a mention. Mrs. Bachmayer uses homemade and regional ingredients, and it comes through in the details. The vegetarian choices go far beyond the usual vegetable plate with béchamel sauce, with a wonderful variety. I eat meat, but I still loved trying the vegetarian dishes, every spoonful made me happy. We came spontaneously in January for a winter holiday with guaranteed snow on the Säumerpfad. We've known the guesthouse for a while and are always glad to return. The hostess is lovely, the atmosphere cozy, and the food fantastic. The whole stay feels so harmonious and relaxing. Thank you so much, Mrs. Bachmayer, for a truly lovely holiday!

I've stayed at the Säumerpfad guesthouse many times, and it's always a lovely place to take a break and return to everyday life feeling more relaxed. The hostess is friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is excellent. Breakfast ingredients are high quality, and the pear jam is delicious. The trout at dinner was fresh and well worth recommending.

We had a cozy setting for our farewell dinner for six this year, with carefully prepared dishes made from fresh, high-quality regional ingredients. The owner puts her heart and soul into running the family business. We were delighted to discover this welcoming place after years of good experiences in Mauth.
