Manni, the hotel manager, was friendly and engaging, and made the place feel like more than somewhere to sleep. The queen bed can easily be split into two twin beds, handy for two friends who don’t want to share. It’s a good quality hotel at decent rates, across from a scenic creek. Restaurant Poseidon, with Greek food, and the River Lounge hookah bar are both a short walk away. I enjoyed my evenings in Mayen.

The hosts were awesome. After checkout, they let me wait in the common area for my girlfriend and even offered me a coffee on the house. The accommodation was clean and really nice, close to the city center. Thanks! I can recommend it 100% and would stay again anytime.

They cancelled my booking on the afternoon of check-in day and never told me. When I arrived, they simply said it was cancelled and that I could call Booking.com support. I’ve never experienced behavior like that. In the end, I was glad, because the hotel itself looked terrible.
