We stayed here to explore nearby Eifel sites, including the Mechernich lead mine and Roman aqueduct, and there are endless options for walks and hikes. The hotel is comfortable and very clean, with friendly service and a good breakfast. It’s connected to a popular restaurant and bar, so everything is on-site, and there’s a parking lot behind the building.

The restaurant has fair prices and was good. I didn’t stay at the hotel. Freilichtmuseum isn’t far away, though the walk is steep.

The food was pretty decent, and the waitresses were very attentive. It’s a typical German pub.

The ladies are so good, and I can honestly say the steaks are the best.
