I love this modern setup. Everything felt efficient, with modern standards and perfect execution. I hope they turn the concept into a chain and bring it everywhere. The world would be better for it.

We had a great stay, and the price was good too. Check-in was easy, and both the room and bed were large. We only spent one night here and wished we could've stayed longer.

We paid €85 per night for the Comfort Room. It was nice and very clean, and the soundproofing was good. The train station is right next door, and since we came by car, it was handy to have parking at the hotel. Wi-Fi was free and good, and you can use a QR code beside the bathroom light switch to control the lights and heating. Drinks in the minibar, coffee, and tea were free too. There are lots of evening dining options in Meckenheim within a 10-minute walk. Aldi, Netto, Penny, and other supermarkets are easy to reach on foot. The heating, air conditioning, and ventilation were set to 17 degrees Celsius and 20% fan speed, but we woke up feeling like we were in a sauna. Everyone staying at the hotel that weekend seemed to have the same heating issue. It's a good choice for one or two nights for two people, but not for a holiday or a family vacation.

The rooms are great, and being able to manage the air conditioning and lights from my phone is a nice feature. Still, the place felt so empty. I barely saw anyone around, and other smart hotels I've stayed in had more life to them. Maybe it's just me, but I felt VERY lonely. The rooms also have a sort of "liminal space" vibe. The stay was okay, but I won't be back.
