The owners were easy to get along with, and the whole stay went smoothly without any problems. We were there with family over the Christmas holidays, and the location was incredibly good. The layout worked really well, with rooms for 2, 3, or 4 people and several shared bathrooms upstairs. The dining room was bright and spacious, with good seating arrangements. The kitchen was especially well equipped, with all the utensils, two powerful ovens, three large refrigerators, and a top-notch stovetop. There was also a smaller kitchenette available if needed.

We celebrated our wedding in this wonderful house and had an amazing time. It was clean and fully equipped, and the air conditioning was a real plus. The very friendly owner, table tennis, foosball, and everything else you need made it a great place to celebrate with friends and family!

We had the main building and the slate-roofed cottage next door for my sister-in-law and brother-in-law's wedding this past weekend. Everyone loved it, and everything went smoothly without any complications. It's a beautiful, cozy place both inside and out, suitable for everyone from young children to adults. There's plenty of space for all kinds of gatherings, with large halls, kitchens equipped with all the necessary gear, and enough bathrooms and toilets. The party room also has table tennis, foosball, and darts. The neighbors nearby were incredibly friendly and didn't mind the music while we celebrated outside. It would be great for a wedding, another celebration, or a relaxing group holiday. We had a truly wonderful time, so it's a full five stars from me. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with lovely walks and hikes nearby. You will need a car to shop, though; the nearest large supermarket is about 10 minutes away. Communication with Heleen was quick and easy. The Old Schoolhouse was a perfect spot for our group birthday with 20 people. It has room and privacy for everyone, and the downstairs rooms are great for hanging out together. The banquet hall is spacious enough for sitting, eating, and dancing, while the fireplace makes the living room cozy on cool evenings. Bedrooms are fine for a few nights, and there are plenty of toilets and showers. The large kitchen is fantastic and fully equipped, with two dishwashers, three refrigerators, and countless pots, pans, bowls, and casserole dishes. Highly recommended. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We’ve been here twice with a large group and both stays went smoothly. The place is well equipped, and we’ve never run into any problems. We’ll be back next year.
