The view from this fantastic log cabin is breathtaking, and the village is very quiet. The cabin has a pétanque court and a trampoline right on site, and the price is definitely right. We only got the chance to stay after another provider cancelled at the last minute, and we were able to switch here within 24 hours. The owners live nearby and were so welcoming and friendly. One thing to keep in mind with a larger group: sound carries a lot in the cabin.

The log cabins are tucked away in a very quiet spot, with a lovely outdoor area and a trampoline the kids enjoyed. Medebach's shops and restaurants are only 5 minutes away, and we took great trips to the Diemel Dam, Winterberg, and Willingen. There are lots of good walking routes nearby too. We stayed in one of the two fantastic cabins, which has a sauna and sleeps up to 8. Inside, there are 4 bedrooms, a large living room with a wood-burning stove, and a well-equipped kitchen. The house worked beautifully for us, whether for a long weekend or a longer holiday, and it's a great base for exploring the area in any season. The van Beek couple were very friendly, and we had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful week at Ecolodge 2. The place has a beautifully landscaped, very large garden with a trampoline, picnic area, and pétanque court, plus a private terrace and plenty of privacy. The house and location were fantastic, with every convenience and luxury we could need. The Dutch owners were very friendly. Five stars!!!
