A week here didn't feel long enough. This is a beautiful old European style hotel, and it's now my favorite place in the world. Our room was spacious, with a small outdoor balcony that was perfect for a glass of local wine. The cold German style breakfast buffet is included, and the staff are wonderful and helpful. There's on-site parking, and the hotel is only steps from Meersburg's medieval town center, a castle, and public transportation. We didn't have a car and had no trouble getting around.

The proprietor was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good in a comfortable, unique space. It's hard to imagine a more convenient place in Meersburg. We came with two kids, two parents, and a grandparent, and it was one of the highlights of our European trip. The rooms were clean. There is a nearby road, and on hot nights you have to open the windows. You may need earplugs, but with them and the provided oscillating fan, I slept perfectly. Without that road noise, I'd have given the rooms five stars.

Mr Fuchs, the hotel owner, was helpful from the very beginning, and his advice saved us unnecessary stress. The hotel is cosy and clean, right in Meersburg's historic center, with its own car park and the city's attractions just steps away. We loved our room with a balcony. Thank you very much :)

When we were about to leave, we discovered a flat tire. Hotelowner Alex immediately stepped in to help, so we could travel on without worry 😊. He really is TOP!! Breakfast was a big 10! Thanks, Ambre & Geert.

The price is really good for what they offer. It's a very nice hotel, with super friendly stuff and an amazing breakfast, just across the street from the town center.
