Romantik Hotel Residenz Am See

The dinners were amazing, and breakfast was just right. We loved our two nights here. Our room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful, with everything we needed. I'd highly recommend staying here. 👍👍

The curtains were left tossed to the side after the room was cleaned, and they could have been arranged more neatly. There was also white limescale on the bathroom floor tiles outside the shower. I mentioned it to the cleaning crew, who said the tiles were broken. I wiped them myself and some of it came off, so using the right cleaning products could help the bathroom look clean and tidy. I was disappointed there was no phone in the suite. When I couldn't open the safe, I had to go to reception for help. They said someone would come in 20 minutes, but after waiting 40 minutes I went down two flights to ask. I was told casually that they'd be there in a few minutes, which wasted my time. Someone opened it with a key, so we put our things inside, but the safe failed again the next morning. Another receptionist changed the battery and that fixed it. They should check the battery first instead of wasting guests' time.

They brought fruit to our comfortable room, and at check-in we got welcome drinks and snacks. The service was very friendly, the location was great, and breakfast was excellent, even with a candy bar!

The setting and service were both excellent. I went for a business meal, and the menu was delicious, with a well-executed mix of cuisines. I'd recommend giving it a try.
