The pool and lake make this a great place to unwind, so pack a swimsuit. It feels a bit like camping at a friend's place, but with all the comforts of home. The little spot is tucked away in the German countryside and has cookware, a coffee maker, and everything else we needed to get away from it all.

The Link family were so friendly, and we’d happily return. We made the most of every day and kept thinking, “CARPE DIEM!” Their Swedish cottage is comfortable and very well looked after, with cosy beds and a small kitchen that has everything needed to cook at home. It’s a beautiful property with a pool by the Lister River.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well maintained, with what we needed to take a break from everyday stress. A lovely holiday home by the lake, with a pool too.

The lake setting was wonderfully peaceful, just right for leaving our stress behind. We spent a relaxing week in a lovely holiday home that was furnished with care, and we’ll definitely come back. Best wishes.

Lake Lister looks fantastic from the house. It’s an older place with a cosy feel and comfortable furnishings. The bedrooms were good, and the bathrooms on both floors were very well kept.
